Srinagar, Sept 11: Three days Inter Zonal District Level (IZDL) Football competitions concluded today at Madri Meharban Stadium, Ganderbal.
Deputy Commissioner, Shafqat Iqbal was chief guest on the occasion and the competition was organized by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO), Ganderbal under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General Youth Services & Sports, J&K.
About192 students under all age groups from three sports Zones of district Ganderbal participated in the tournament.
DC assured every possible sports facilities from district administration to boost sports activities in the district.
Zone Ganderbal was declared winner under all age groups in final matches which was played with Zone Hariganwan (U-14) and Zone Thulamela (U-17 and U-19).
Later, the DC also distributed mementos and medallions among the players of the winning team.
