Jagdish appointed working president of DADAA

JAMMU, July 29: The executive members of Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA), Jammu, unanimously nominated Jagdish Singh Babli as working president of the association during a meeting held here today.
Thereafter the meeting discussed various problems of the Artists community.
The meeting expressed concern over the plight of the artists of Jammu due to DDK Jammu’s move of stopping the in house production and commissioning programmes.
The long pending demand of Dogri channel at the pattern of DD Kashmir was also discussed. The association urged upon Dogri Sanstha and other Dogra organizations to unite and fight for the cause of Dogri Channel on the pattern of DD Kashir.
The meeting demanded that the funds provided for DDK Jammu be utilized judicially and requested the Central authorities of Parsar Bharti for accountability of the administration of DDK Jammu.
It was also decided in the meeting that a charter of demands will be presented to Member Parliament of Jammu division to apprise the Central administration of Parsar Bharti about the malpractices of DDK Jammu.
