JAMMU, Jan 31: The Power Development Department today appointed Jagmohan Sharma, Executive Director (Retired), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) as the Non-Executive Chairman on the Board of Directors (BoDs) of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL).
“In partial modification of Government order number 191-PDD of 2019 dated October 23, 2019, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Jagmohan Sharma, Executive Director (Retd), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd as Non-Executive Chairman on the Board of Directors of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited,” read an order issued by Principal Secretary to the Government, PDD, H Rajesh Prasad.
As per an order, Sharma has been appointed for a period of one year from the date of appointment or until further orders, whichever is earlier. His appointment may also be terminable within one month notice on either side.
