JAMMU, June 22: The camp inmates of Jagti getting ration from ration dept at Lane 8 today alleged that they have been denied the ration for the month of May altogether.
In a statement, Vijay Kaul a social activist and representative of migrants of the area said the migrants taking ration from this depot have not been given the ration for the month of May till date. He said despite taking the issue with concerned authorities they failed to take the cognizance of the same with the result many families are suffering.
Kaul sought immediate intervention of Director Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs as well as Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner in the matter so that the ration for the month of May is released in favour of the migrants. He also demanded that in future the ration be supplied well in time.
