Jagti camp inmates highlight migrants issues

JAMMU, Nov 18: A meeting was held by inmates of migrant camp at Jagti today under the chairmanship of Inder Kumar Labroo president Minority Cell Samajwadi Party.
The meeting highlighted various problems of displaced people and alleged that the Government has failed to simplify voting procedure for migrants. It also accused the Government of its total failure in solving the problems of displaced people from Valley especially hike in cash relief, payment of one time compensation to overaged youth, passage of Shrines and Temples Bill and implementation of PM’s employment package in toto.
The meeting expressed concern over the recent statements of some PDP leaders including the MLA Shangus Peer Mansoor who had opposed installation of Hindu Chief Minister in the State and cautioned the people against such leaders.
