Jagti migrants’ delegation calls on Relief Commissioner

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Dec 10: A delegation of Jagti township inmates today called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner R K Pandita here and apprised him of the various problems being faced by the migrants residing in Jagti township. The delegation demand taking up of developmental works in hand in the township, expediting work on hospital, opening of J&K Bank Branch in the township, setting up of police post and improving the power supply. The delegation also apprised Mr Pandita of the problems being faced by the Relief holders due to failure of Government in enhancing the cash relief and urged him that Government should take effective measures in this regard. The delegation assured full cooperation to the authorities. The delegation was led by Sheshnag and other members included Kaka Ji Bhan, Veer Ji Belove and Pinto Ji.
