JAMMU, Sept 25: Parents Association Jagti township in a meeting today held under the chairmanship of Vir Ji Belove expressed concern that the School Education Department instead of posting the teachers and lecturers of those subjects who have not till date joined in the camp schools at Jagti the authorities placed 40 teachers and Principal of the Institute under suspension few days back on flimsy grounds adding to the sufferings of the students further.
The meeting, which was attended by Dileep Pandita and B N Tickoo said that the parents and students have no complaints bout those teachers and lecturers who are presently working in the School as they are always in time and also teach students to their best satisfaction. But the parents were demanding deployment of the teachers for those subjects in the School in which there are no teachers or lecturers. Instead of solving this problem and posting the more subject teachers in the Schools at Jagti Government placed those teachers under suspension who were running the School. This action has demoralized these teachers, they added. The meeting in an appeal to Director School Education urged him to look into the matter personally and issue directives to those teachers who failed to join their duties in camp schools at Jagti and revoke the suspension order of 40 teachers and Principal.
