SAMBA, June 24: State Executive Member Jai Ram Sharma along with Panch Shamsher Singh and Rehmat Ali kick started road work of worth Rs 4.5 lakh at Rakh Baroti Panchayat Gudwal-B.
Jai Ram while kick-starting the work said that it was a long pending demand of people residing in village Rakh Baroti which is being fulfilled now. The developmental work is being carried out under MGNREGA which along with the development will provide employment to the locals as well. PM Modi has almost doubled the budget of MGNREGA with taking the issue of employment for the locals into consideration he added.
He lauded the cooperation and commitment of locals towards developing their surroundings and said PM Modi is committed to overall development of the country in general and backward and left out areas in particular.
Those who accompanied him included Mandal president, BJP Vijaypur, Ajay Sharma, Liaquat Ali, Waag Hussain, Zakir Hussain, Jammat Ali, Zumma ,Massom Ali and others.
