JAMMU, Dec 24: Senior IAS officer of Jammu and Kashmir cadre Pramod Kumar Jain is returning to the State after Central deputation.
An IAS officer of 1985 batch, Jain was presently posted as Joint Secretary in Union Ministry of Culture.
Earlier, he had held various assignments in Jammu and Kashmir including the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
Meanwhile, the Government today ordered appointment of Rajinder Singh Tara, Special Secretary in the Health and Medical Education Department as Returning Officer for holding elections to J&K Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Medicine.
He will conduct the election within a period of two months.
