JAMMU, Apr 10: Jain Yuvak Sangh Jammu led by its president, Ashish Jain here today organized an impressive Prabhat Pheri as part of weeklong Mahaveer Jayanti celebrations.
The Prabhat Pheri started from Nek Chand Bhawan, Rani Park Road, Jammu and after passing through Raj Tilak Road, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazar, Pacca Danga and Moti Bazar it culminated at the same point from which it had started.
Devotees in Prabhat Pheri recited devotional songs highlighting preaching of saints and praised Lord Mahaveera-the preacher of ‘Ahimsa Parmo Dharma’ and ‘Jio Aur Jeene Do’ philosophy.
The programme was graced by the presence of president S.S Jain Sabha, Pankaj Jain and devotional songs by members of Jain Taruni Mandal added colours to the celebrations.
Various organizations affiliated to S.S Jain Sabha Jammu joined the Prabhat Pheri and made the programme a grand success.
The programme culminated with vote of thanks from Saurabh Jain, general secretary, Jain Yuvak Sangh.
