NEW DELHI: India and the United States on Friday held talks to further strengthen ‘strategic partnership’.
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar met the visiting US Deputy Secretary of State Department
John Sullivan.
“Glad to receive Deputy Secretary @StateDept John Sullivan. Discussing the deep convergences of our strategic relationship,” Dr Jaishankar tweeted.
On August 14, Ken Juster, US ambassador to India, had tweeted: “Welcome to India, Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan. The Deputy Secretary kicked off his visit by meeting the Embassy team, who work so hard to advance the U.S.-India relationship.”
The US envoy’s missive in the micro blogging site was tweeted with hashtags ‘OneTeamOneMission’ and ‘USIndiaDosti’.
