JAMMU, Mar 30: The JAKFED employees held a protest demonstration here, today in support of their long pending demands and urged the Government to settle them with out further delay.
The protestors including the female and male employees of the organisation with placards and banners in their hands raised slogans in support of their demands and demanded justice for hapless employees of the organisation.
The protestors said since the winding up of JAKFED in 2019 these employees are running from pillar to post for justice but the Government is totally sleeping over the issue and has left them to fend for themselves.
They demanded the release of all dues in favour of retired employees and salaries of in service employees since 2019 without further delay.
The protestors have made an appeal to the Lt Governor in this regard and sought his immediate intervention in sorting out the matter as the employees of the organisation are at the verge of starvation due to the callousness of the authorities. They also demanded implementation of proposal of Chief Secretary in sorting out the issue of the JAKFED employees.
