JAMMU, May 1: Strike by the JAKFED employees in support of their demands for implementation of Sixth Pay Commission recommendations and clearing pending cases of SRO 43 entered into second day today.
All JAKFED Employees Welfare Association said all Government Department and Cooperative institutions excepting JAKFED have implemented Sixth Pay Commission recommendations. However, they regretted, the JAKFED employees were suffering due to delay in implementation of the Pay Commission report.
Working in the JAKFED remained affected for second day due to the strike.
Jugal Sharma, vice president of INTUC visited the striking employees and extended support to their all demands.
