Jamia Zia Ul Uloom HS celebrates Annual Function

JAMMU, Feb 23: Jamia Zia-Ul-Uloom High School celebrated its two- days Annual Function with pomp and show today.
On its first day, a large number of people including parents of the students and other prominent citizens were present and witnessed the talent of the students.
Beside debates and speeches, the students of Jamia presented cultural items which enthralled the guests and the audience.
On this occasion, MLA Haveli, Shah Muhammad Tantray was the chief guest, while Additional Deputy Commissione , Mumtaz Choudhary was the  guest of honour.
The other dignitaries included senior academician K K Kapoor; senior journalist, Pardeep Khanna, Prof Jagbir Singh, Prof Fateh Mohammad Abbasi, Dr Abdul Lateef, lecturer Anwar Khan, Lecturer Nazarat Khan, lecturer Babar Ali and others.
While speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that the institution has shown the right path to other institutions as well and congratulated the School Management  for generating excellent results besides providing platform to the students to express their results.
Additional  DC, Mumtaz Choudhary also expressed his happiness over the excellent show of the activities by the students.
On the second day, Commandment 93 Inf Brigade Janab Navdeep S Barar was present as chief guest, who was deeply impressed by the talent of the students and said that, the student community have a lot of talent and we just need to polish it.
On this occasion, Jamia also presented about 200 awards in different categories and the best student award was bagged by Gulnawaz Shabir.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Khalil A Banday, while
School Principal, Waheed R Banday presented vote of thanks.
