JAMMU, Feb 29: Two artists from Jammu-Jasleen Singh and Jang S. Verman participated in an international art exhibition titled ‘Exoressions-24’ organized by ArtFort India, Chandigarh at Modern Art Gallery of International Reorich Memorial Trust (IRMT), Kullu (HP).
The exhibition of paintings and prints was jointly inaugurated by IRMT’s Russian Curator Larisa Surgina and Indian Curator Suresh Kumar in the presence of Prabhinder Lall from ArtFort India on February 27, 2024 and it culminated today.
While inaugurating the exhibition, Larisa Surgina appreciated the endeavours of ArtFort India and others to organize such events at IRMT, Naggar (Kullu). Prabhinder Lall thanked all the dignitaries and the staff of IRMT to make the event a grand success.
According to Prabhinder Lall from ArtFort India, 65 art works of 24 artists from different countries were displayed in the Exhibition, exploring various aspects of trends and techniques being practiced by the artists across the world to express their creative ideas and emotions.
The participating artists were B.S Baloria, Jang S. Verman, Neeti Joshi, Rahim Mirza, Bharti Vandna, Harpreet Singh, Prabhinder Lall, Harsh Loomba, Jasleen Singh and Lalhming Mawii from India; Ali Debit, Suzlee Ibrahim, Zuriati Shaari, Shukri Derahman, Dzul Afiq, Ammar Idris and Khairudin Zainudin from Malaysia; Bndhita Worasri, Anchana Nangkala and Bew Chayanisa from Thailand; Tiziana Tafuri from Italy; Fotini Pappa from Greece and Katia Munoz from Spain.
Assistant Curator IRMT Damitry Surgin, Amarjeet Anand, Jhabey Ram, Sanjeev Kumar and others were also present in the inaugural ceremony.
