JAMMU, Oct 8: Jammu’s well known contemporary artist Suman Gupta’s paintings have been included amongst the few selected artists from Finland, Norway, Italy and India in an exhibition of contemporary art practices happening in different part of the world at Finland.
Organised by Gallery Espoonsita, the prestigious international exhibition opened at the Gallery Espoonsilta in city of Espoo in Finland today and shall remain open till October 20, 2013.
Suman Gupta is the lone participant from India amongst the 17 artists that have been handpicked from all the major disciplines of contemporary art and created special art works for this prestigious show.
Gupta has created two new works titled “Fish and the bird” and “Night Halt” both dry brush on paper for this show.
Besides, Gupta has also been invited for the 9th edition of the prestigious Florence Biennale starting on November 30 this year at Fortezza Da Basso in Italy.
