JAMMU, June 4: Police today claimed that the fire inside Jammu Bus Stand Yard yesterday was triggered by the leakage in a cooking gas cylinder.
“A bus conductor along with another person was preparing their meals inside a bus (JK02AE-4161). The cooking gas from their cylinder leaked and spread to another bus parked nearby due to strong winds, resulting in losses to the two busses,” a police official said.
However, timely action by Police and Fire Services controlled and doused the fire without any loss of lives or injuries in the incident, he added.
