JAMMU, June 4: National United Front (NUF), a registered NGO, has demanded direct train between Jammu and Chandigarh as interest of students and others including patients visiting Chandigarh for treatment was involved in that.
The NUF in its meeting held under the chairmanship of its Patron-in-Chief, Vijay Mahajan and attended by all the office bearers observed that a lot of people have to pay a visit for one reason or the other to Chandigarh almost daily but in the absence of a direct train between the two destinations they are made to confront various difficulties on one count or the other.
The meeting was attended by Anil Sharma, chairman, Sanjay Sharma, general secretary and all other office bearers.
