JAMMU, Dec 17: “Jammu people feel betrayed by BJP and its leadership as their star campaigner, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public address which was full of tit bits exposed their Congress phobia, realized ‘pack up’ and certain poll debacle”, Sham Lal Sharma, senior Congress leader and Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control said.
Addressing election meetings in Badyala Chak and villages of Gurha Brahmana Panchayat, Sharma thanked unconditional support to him from all Para Medical Students Association and Jammu Joint Students Union. He assured educated youths his selfless services.
BJP which is day dreaming of grabbing power to pursue the hijacked agendas of Hurriyat Conference and National Conference, allegedly had secret bargains with separatists, Sharma alleged and called upon Jammu region’s voters to foil their nefarious political designs by voting en-mass to Congress party.
He reminded Jammu people of BJP’s exploitive and divisive politics which once they played on the name of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya but after securing power put into dustbin like their latest U-Turn on Article 370 and Hindu CM.
Seeking mandate of Akhnoor people on his performances, he claimed that development will be his agenda and he has vision to make Akhnoor Constituency a model one.
He said that J&K has seen 16 Kashmiri CMs from Valley and the time has come when Jammu people should vote and support Congress to see 17th CM from Jammu to end Kashmiri dominance and to usher in an era of dignified Jammu right from Bhadarwah, Gandoh to Bani-Basohli, Poonch-Rajouri to Akhnoor and RS Pura to welcome tourists from India at Lakhanpur.
