SAMBA, Aug 23:  Charging successive State Governments with neglecting Jammu region in all spheres of life, Yuvraj Vikramaditya today said that it was only during the three year tenure of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed that equal treatment was given to Jammu region in field of development and socio-economic growth.
“It is really regrettable and unfortunate that successive Governments in Jammu and Kashmir have propagated imbalanced and unequal developmental policies after 1947 which resulted into backwardness and marginalization of Jammu region in socio-economic growth”, Vikramaditya Singh said while addressing a public meeting at Samba in support of party candidate Sunny Sangral.
“For the last 10 days I have been travelling rural and border areas of Jammu region and I am not happy  because most of these areas are under-developed”, he said and pointed out that common people have been struggling to get basic amenities like roads, health facilities and drinking water.
Cautioning people against evil designs of some forces propagating divisive policies, Vikramaditya said that it was high time to strengthen hands of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for the over-all growth and development of the State.
