Jammu Katra rail link

Sir,
There are a few things I would like to point about the Jammu-Katra section of the Kashmir Rail Link Project:
The rail link to Katra should not have passed through Udhampur since it takes a longer route to reach Katra. Jammu-Katra road distance is 45 kms and by rail it is 78 kms. A separate link should have been built to accommodate yatris to Vaishno Devi or to Udhampur.
Another inconvenience that has been taking place for the past few years is  that the trains have to stop at a station to let the train from the opposite side pass. This is due to the fact that the entire line from Jammu to Katra is single except at the stations. Hence, it takes average 1 hour 50 minutes to cover the 53 km distance between Jammu and Udhampur and 40 mins to cover the 25 km distance between Udhampur and Katra.
Hope the authorities would take these things in mind and make trip quite convenient.
Yours etc…
