JAMMU, Mar 24: Jammu Motors commenced deliveries of the highly anticipated Bajaj ‘V’ here.
The ‘V’ is Bajaj Auto’s highly acclaimed motorcycle, containing the metal of the erstwhile INS Vikrant, India’s celebrated aircraft carrier. The V has received an overwhelming initial response with more than 10,000 customers booking the vehicle within a short span of 10 days.
Jammu Motors organized a grand event at its showroom at BC Road where Retd Colonel Dalip Singh of Indian Army was the chief guest. Colonel Dalip Singh handed over the keys to the first proud owner of Bajaj V 15. The launch-cum-delivery function was attended by BAL officials, financers and customers.
On the occasion, Colonel Dalip Singh (Retd) said “Bajaj Auto is synonymous for its revolutionary two-wheelers and the launch of the ‘V’ has taken this to a whole new level. We are glad that scores of Indian citizens will now have the opportunity to own a bike with metal of the Invincible INS Vikrant”.
The “V” has drawn unprecedented interest from every part of the nation ever since it has been unveiled. At an invincible price, the bike is appealing to every proud Indian. The “V” is expected to carve out a niche for itself for commuter bike seekers looking at upgrading to the 150 cc segment.
The “V” with its 150 cc DTS-i engine is capable of delivering an invincible torque of 13 Nm at 5500 RPM and an invincible power of 12 PS power at 7500 rpm. With its invincible stand-tall form and high torque performance, the bike promises a proud riding experience to its customers.
