JAMMU, July 9: Jammu Motors has launched the all New CT 110 and Platina 110 in an impressive function held at Jammu Motors, BC Road, Jammu in the presence of dealers of Bajaj, financers and customers.
It is the newest addition to Bajaj Autho’s CT commuter motorcycle range and it gets a bunch of cosmetic updates such as tank pads, new graphics, blacked out bits such as the engine, handlebar and the grab-rails along with a tinted visor and a slightly bigger seat. The CT 110 also gets rubber covers for the telescopic forks and the mirror stalks as well.
It features a 115cc, single-cylinder motor borrowed from the Platina 110. Consequently, it’s expected to produce the same power output of 8.6PS at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. The motor comes mated to a 4-speed transmission.
While the Platina range already boasts of ‘Comfortec Technology’ for more convenient rides, the new model gets additional features like digital console, highway gear and feather-touch gear shift mechanism.
Powering Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear is a 115-cc, single-cylinder, DTS-I engine that delivers 8.6 PS and 9.81 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension duties are performed by telescopic front forks and Nitrox gas canisters at the rear. There are 17-inch tubeless tyres at the front and rear. Apart from the usual drum variant, the bike also gets a disc version.
The digital console in Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear has gear-shift-guide, trip-meter and fuel indicator. The highway gear has been tuned to deliver an optimum mix of pickup and fuel economy on long distance highway rides. Other features include anti-skid braking system, broader rubber footpads, 3D logo with new decals and premium quilt pattern long seat with stitch lines.
