JAMMU, Dec 31: After the overwhelming market response to the V15, Bajaj Auto has added a new 125 cc commuter motorcycle christened as V12 in its V range.
The bike was unveiled by Captain (retd) Balbir Singh in an impressive function held  at Jammu Motors, BC Road, Rehari, in the presence of Bajaj officials, dealers, financers and customers.
The V12 is the younger sibling of the popular V15 that was launched in March 2016. The V12 has taken its design cues from its bigger sibling V15 but sports different features. The commuter motorcycle has got 5 spoke alloy wheels.
Besides this, V12 also features the same trapezoidal headlamp and curvy design rear seat crowl, front rubber fork boots, body coloured mudguard and analogue instrument cluster. The V12 is powered by a 125 cc DTS-I engine, which produces 10hp of power and 11 Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed transmission.
Bajaj V12 is available in two attractive colours-Ebony black and Flamered and now available at Jammu Motors, BC Road, Rehari. V12 continues to use the metal from decommissioned aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.
The V15 was launched in March 2016 and the company has sold over 1.6 lakh units of the motorcycle till date.
