JAMMU, Dec 13: The Jammu Muslim Front strongly condemned Omar Abdullah’s deliberate disregard for the concerns of Jammu Muslims during a recent civil society meeting.
This shocking oversight has left the community feeling ignored and marginalized, a sentiment that echoes the neglect they have faced since 1947.
Despite hopes that the NC-led government would provide a platform for Jammu Muslims to voice their concerns, the meeting was dominated by sycophancy towards a section of the BJP. Those who opposed Articles 370 and 35-A were given center stage, further exacerbating the sense of betrayal felt by Jammu Muslims.
“We hold Omar Abdullah responsible for this egregious oversight and demand that he takes immediate action to address the concerns of the Jammu Muslim community. The Jammu Muslim Front will continue to advocate for the rights and interests of our community, and we will not be silenced or ignored,” Shuja Zaffar, Chairman of the Front and Qazi Imran, president of the Front said.
