JAMMU, Oct 5: An officer from Jammu Arun Kumar Jaral, Soil Conservation Assistant, Bhalwal, Jammu has been conferred with “Grameen Vikas Purskar” by Lupin Human Welfare and Research Foundation at Bharatpur, Rajasthan.
He was felicitated by Padamshree Dr Subash Palekar for his distinguish services in field of Organic Farming in Jammu. Besides being presented a citation, the awardee was also honoured with a shawl.
This was informed by Director Agriculture, Jammu PS Rathore. He said that Jaral’s felicitation at national level has made the department proud.
CAO Jammu, FA Bhat, CAO Kathua, Arun Gupta, and CAO, Samba, HS Mankotia were also present on the occasion.
Pertinently, Jaral has contributed by popularization of paddy drum seeder, line sowing in wheat and organic agriculture.
