JAMMU, Apr 20: Under Civic Action Programme (CAP), Jammu Police donated 5 wheel chairs to the needy handicapped children of Red Cross Home for Handicaps, Udheywala in a simple function, here today.
Under the directions of Director General of Police (DGP), JKP has launched various schemes for the welfare of the general public, especially destitute and downtrodden members of the society including under-privileged children.
The function among others was attended by Rajeshwar Singh, SP Jammu, Shailender Singh, SP Hqrs, Rajesh Sharma, Additional SP Rural Jammu and other staff members of District Police Office (DPO), Jammu alongwith the representatives of Jammu Red Cross Home for Handicaps, Udheywala, Jammu.
