JAMMU: The winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir today witnessed the season’s hottest day, with the maximum recorded at 45.1 Degree Celsius.

“The maximum temperature in Jammu today was recorded 45.1 Degree Celsius and it was the season’s hottest day,” a Met official here said.

He said the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.2 degree  Celsius. “Mercury will further soar in the coming days,” he added.

The weatherman, however, predicted mainly clear sky with maximum and minimum temperatures around 43 degrees and 28 degrees, respectively.
