Jammu Tourism social handle

Sir,
Jammu has always been given step motherly treatment by the State Government. Despite huge tourism potential, Jammu and surrounding areas like Bhaderwah, Kathua and Udhampur have been ignored by the authorities for the longest time.
Like the rest of the world, Jammu Tourism finally got on the bandwagon of Social media. Alas…the glory was short lived. Just when the tourists started taking note of ‘ The region’, someone decided to pull the plug. Let’s take a look at the number of tourists in various areas of Jammu. Expectedly, Vaishno Devi tops the charts with 53.57% of tourist footfall. The next one on the list is Shadara Sharief with 10.25% tourist turn over. Shiv Khori emerges at number 3 with 9.35% foot fall. The dark horse here is Mansar with 6.72% footfall followed by another famous tourist attraction Patnitop.
We cannot ignore the contribution of aesthetically shot ads for Mansar and other regions which were uploaded on Social handles of Jammu Tourism. To get the spotlight on Jammu for once, I strongly believe that Jammu tourism handle has to be treated as a different entity rather than merge the tourism handles of all three regions (Jammu, Kashmir and Laddkah).
The results of efforts put in by Jammu tourism are for everyone to see. Let’s not kill growing tourism in Jammu. Let us please give impetus to untapped potential of tourism in Jammu. Separate Jammu Tourism handle acts a catalyst to give boost to tourism in Jammu.
Government must consider reinstating separate Jammu Tourism Handle for the world to know more about Jammu.
