JAMMU, Dec 18: A deputation of members of Chamber of Traders Federation Jammu called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today and brought to her notice several issues confronting the trading community of the region.
The deputation led by president Neeraj Anand also sought intervention of Chief Minister in completing many of the ambitious city development projects. They sought raising of more sports complexes and warehouses in view of the growing size of the city. They also sought redressal of frequent traffic congestions in the city and upgradation of healthcare facilities in the city.
The deputation pledged support to the Chief Minister and her Government in its positive policies and initiatives.
Thanking the deputation for their support, the Chief Minister said Government has already flagged the issues pointed out by the deputationists as thrust areas and many ambitious projects are being thought for the city development.
Several other deputations and individuals also met the Chief Minister and apprised her of their day to day problems.
The Chief Minister assured them that their genuine demands would be looked into.
