JAMMU, Apr 1: Jammu Tawi and Udhampur Railway Stations will be developed on international standards and to facilitate this Government has constituted a standing committee.
According to the order issued by the General Administration Department, the standing committee will facilitate issuance of the clearances like mutation of land, change of land use, heritage clearance, NOCs from local bodies etc in a time-bound manner for re-development of Jammu Tawi and Udhampur Railway Stations to international standards.
Financial Commissioner, Planning and Development Department is the Chairman of the Committee while as Administrative Secretaries of Forest, Housing and Urban Development Department, Power Development Department, Public Works Department, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Revenue Department, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Jammu and Deputy Commissioner Udhampur are the members of the Standing Committee.
