JAMMU, May 17: It is over one year that the whole world has been struggling with this pandemic and still the fight is going on. There are so many Corona warriors—doctors, Government officials, medical staff, sanitation team and many more, who are working tirelessly for it and as an artist, it is my duty to come forward to spread the awareness and information regarding prevention of corona pandemic.
This was stated by Ravinder Jamwal, Sculptor in a handout issued here.
He said that last year he did installation regarding COVID-19, that how it has effects the life of people and by following lockdown SOPs, we can fight against COVID-19, but big countries like America, Russia and china tried all their efforts to struggle for the survival.
He said this year he also did installation in which he has given a frame, which shows that the people are following the SOPs of coronavirus and following all the precautionary measures during lockdown but still our mortality rate is getting higher because this time, the COVID second layer is more horrendous for all and everyone—be it medical staff, administration and other frontline workers, who are working 24×7, to save people life.
“The upper part of the installation is depicting as human being, who is swallowing the human lives and the frame is depicting as under lockdown, people are still searching happiness in their lives”, Jamwal said, adding that the material used for the installation includes waste material like newspaper, wires, floor levy and wooden ply.
