JAMMU, Dec 6: With elections nearing, National Conference candidate from Jammu West  Dharamveer Singh Jamwal has stepped up his mass contact campaign by meeting electors at their door-steps besides holding interactive sessions across the constituency, today.
Jamwal apprised the people how severely the constituency had suffered during the past six years due to apathetic approach of the chosen representative, who relegated most pressing issues due internal bickering in BJP and pursuit of personal interests.
“We have to undo the wrongs committed during this period and earlier also by devoting ourselves to the larger cause of ensuring better roads, regulated power and water supply, creating job opportunities for our young people besides undertaking development on a massive scale”, Jamwal said during door-to-door campaign in Anand Nagar, Surya Vihar, Bohri and Talab Tillo areas. He said the people were craving for seeing the constituency developing on aesthetic lines in view of congestion and shrinking roads, lanes and choking drains.
He said that despite the callous approach of the chosen representatives, National Conf-erence endeavoured to make the lives of people comforting by undertaking development and improving civic amenities. “These basic services will gain further impetus in years to come with National Conference having committed to ensure holistic and futuristic development of all the constituencies in the three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh”, he said.
