JAMMU, Nov 20: National Conference (NC) candidate for Jammu West, Dharmvir Singh Jamwal today pledged to transform the developmental landscape of his constituency, saying focus would be laid on improving road network, sanitation, health and hygiene besides civic amenities.
“Regulated power and drinking water supply will form core of my priorities”, Jamwal said while addressing several election meetings at Janipur, Bantalab and other areas of the constituency.
Jamwal expressed his gratitude to the people for reposing their trust in the progressive policies of NC time and again and said the party reflects the urges and aspirations of the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
The NC candidate said that his party has always espoused the cause of the people at every fora and worked for betterment of all sections of the society with sincerity of purpose and irrespective of caste, creed and colour.
“The enviable achievements have become eyesore for the opponents who have been indulging in malicious campaign because of their frustration”, he said adding that NC will not deviate itself from the chosen path of public service and it is always prepared for any sacrifice to uphold the honour and dignity of the people.
Referring to the contribution of Omar led Government during the past six years, Jamwal said a futuristic approach has been adopted while implementing various developmental projects and implementation of welfare schemes that have transformed the profile of the State.
“The holistic development in all sectors speaks of the single minded approach adopted by the Chief Minister to steer the State and all its three regions to new pinnacles of development. He described restoration of peace as the single most significant achievement that has paved way for progress and development in a big way.
He said despite numerous odds, development has got new dimension and this odyssey will continue in next six years.
