SAMBA, June 3: Thousands of crores have been deposited into Jan Dhan accounts and this scheme will ensure socio-economic equality of the common masses.
This was stated by BJP National Vice-President and Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna during a public rally here today.
On the occasion, Khanna also administered oath to the party activists and the general public on Jan Dhan, Jal Dhan and Van Dhan.
He was accompanied by BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, State Vice-President Mamta Singh, State General Secretary Dr Narinder Singh, SC Morcha President and MLA Dr Davinder Manyal, District President Jangvir Singh and other leaders.
While speaking on the need to make judicious and wise use of the resources like Jan (man), Jal (water) and Van (forest), Khanna said that Prime Minister has set into motion three-pronged strategy for 21st century India to concentrate on ‘Jan Dhan’, ‘Jal Dhan’ and ‘Van Dhan’.
Khanna said that Jan Dhan will ensure human resource and economic development. The Prime Minister has asked to work for a new milestone of economic development with our pro-people and pro-active governance by 2022, when the nation celebrates 75 years of independence, he added.
Khanna further stated that Van Dhan is related to development of the tribal people and their progress with forest based economic activities. This would ensure environment protection, ecology conservation and economic progress of the people in most ethical way.
Jal Dhan is more related to preserving and conserving water resources and developing them for irrigation and transport purposes. More irrigation facilities will provide a better opportunity to the farmers and end their suicides, he added.
Khanna further said that the Prime Minister has asked the party workers to resolve to make India a strong, happy, prosperous and leading nation of the world by 2022, where the honest, hardworking citizens will have due honour and place in the society. PM has also asked the party workers to take a long leap for creating history, he added.
