POONCH, Aug 5: Expressing anguish over the callous attitude of PDP-BJP Government towards border dwellers in the wake of continuous shelling on the Line of Control (LoC), Provincial Youth National Conference President Ajaz Jan said the administration has miserably failed to cope up the situation and coming to the rescue of the victims.
He expressed concern over the miseries being inflicted on the border people and said the administration showed high degree of insensitivity by not even making the arrangements for shifting two civilians, including a young girl child, to hospital for treatment.
He added that the coalition stands exposed for being lackadaisical towards the problems of the people.
Jan has sought compensation for the shelling victims and losses caused to crops in the wake of people abandoning their land-holdings due to intermittent firing.
