JAMMU, Mar 20: Janak Raj has been elected as president while Ashok Kumar as general secretary of PHE Workers Welfare Association (PHEWWA) for Jammu.
In a meeting of the Association held here today the new office bearers for the Jal Shakti (PHE) Mechanical were inducted. The meeting was held under the leadership of senior Trade Union leaders Ram Labhaya and Manzoor Ali in the office of Jal Shakti Mech Division South, Gandhinagar, Jammu today.
During elections Janak Raj was unanimously elected as president, Bodh Raj and Naresh Kumar as vice presidents, Ashok Kumar as general secretary, Ravi Kumar office secretary, Jatinder Kumar as press secretary, Angrez Singh as cashier while Gagandeep, Major Singh, Amarjeet Singh and Parshotam Kumar as executive members. All these members have been elected for the term of two years.
These elected office bearers have assured the PHE employees to take up their issues before the concerned quarters.
