Janipur police arrests 3 miscreants with ‘tokka’

JAMMU, Aug 24: Janipur police today arrested three miscreants for damaging private cars near Power House and recovered sharp-edged weapon “tokka” from their possession.
A police spokesman said that, a complaint was received by the Janipur police that some miscreants are breaking the window panes of cars with sharp edged weapon near Power House.
Acting swiftly, police party from Janipur Police Station rushed to the spot and arrested three miscreants, who have been identified as Avinash Singh Parihar, son of Kuldeep Singh Parihar of Power House, Janipur, Pankaj Chib, son of Swaran Singh Chib of Pandoka Colony, Paloura and Tilak Raj Sharma, son of Dev Raj Sharma of Lakkar Mandi.
He said that the miscreants damaged four cars, adding that sharp edged weapon “Tokka” was also recovered from their possession.
A case under FIR number 96/13 under Section 4/25 Arms Act, 427 RPC has been registered against the accused persons at Janipur Police Station and investigation started.
Police party led by SHO Niaz-ul-Hassan Malik made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Shabir Khan.
