LONDON, June 3: Australian comedy entertainment group The Janoskians have announced that they are making a feature film.
The group comprising Beau Brooks, Jai Brooks, Luke Brooks Daniel Sahyounie and James Yammouni, are teaming up with Lionsgate to produce a movie based on their ‘social disturbance’ comedy, reported Digital Spy.
The film, written by Dan Ahdoot, will include stunts and public pranks as well as a partially-written script as The Janoskians adjust to life in Los Angeles and plan to throw a huge party.
“In our wildest dreams, we never thought we would end up working with a company like Lionsgate. They take risks, break rules and make epic movies,” Beau said.
“We can’t wait to take our pranks and jokes to the next level. We know we are lucky, and we will make the most of it, we promise you,” he added.
The group uploaded their first ‘Awkward Train Situations’ video to Youtube back in 2011 and now have over 2 million subscribers and more than 200 million combined views.
They’ve released a new song titled ‘Real Girls Eat Cake’, and are embarking on their ‘Got Cake’ tour this summer, performing in places such as London, Glasgow and New York. (PTI)
