Jammu, May 7: “Jaspal Bhatti Humor Festival” organized by CRPF’s Regional Family Welfare Association (RCWA) Jammu, in association with Savita Bhatti and Jammu Kashmir Study Centre, Chandigarh at Group Centre CRPF, Bantalab, Jammu with full fervour and zeal to relief the stress of brave soldiers of CRPF.
At the outset Mrs Rozy Dhar W/o Kuldeep Dhar, IG, CRPF Jammu sector and Chairperson “Regional CWA, Jammu, welcomed Savita Bhatti and all other artist i.e. Maheep Singh, Amit Tandon, Banwari Jhol and Pradeep Kumar Pallavi.
The ceremony began with lighting of lamp by the chief guest Savita Bhatti and Rozy Dhar, followed by a patriotic song sung by the kids of “Drishti Seva Bharti” Ashram, Jammu. Later on Savita Bhatti and all other actors entertained the troops and families of Central Reserve Police Force by presenting various humours clips/acts.
The programme concluded with distribution of prize to Miss Sunaina Sharma who secured 8th position in 12th class in J&K State Board and she is also a part of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” abhiyan of CRPF. All the actors were also honoured by presenting mementos by Rozy Dhar and Deepa Dimri. About 450 force members and their families fully enjoyed these rememberable moments. This festival also indicates that India?s most loved humorist, Padma Bhushan Jaspal Bhatti?s vision is alive and kicking.
