Jasrotia asks people not to get misled by false propaganda of Oppn

KATHUA, Sept 24: BJP senior leader and MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia today said that development of rural and far flung areas is high on the priority of the Coalition Government.
Jasrotia while addressing  series of public gatherings after inaugurating and laying foundation stone of many developmental projects which include black topping work at Mankey Talab Kathua , RBM at Nihallpur Chhatiyal Road, lane and drain work at Nagri and repair of cause way at Saidpur. During the day-long tour, the MLA interacted with various deputations and individuals who apprised him about various issues being confronted to them in their day-to-day life. He heard them patiently and assured that their genuine grievances would be redressed.
He said the coalition Government is committed for the welfare and development of people living in far flung areas of the State. He said present coalition is endeavoured to empower the people of far flung and hilly areas socially, economically and politically as well. He said expansion of higher education, medicare facility, transport and CA&PD system has been the priority of the Government so that the poor people living in remote and hilly areas get benefited. He said the State has its own characteristics, problems and potential, and Government’s policies are directed to work on them and make most of the opportunities for welfare of the people.
MLA maintained that the people are the real judge to evaluate the performance done on the ground by the present dispensation. They need not to get misled by false propaganda of the opposition for the vested interests, he cautioned.
The MLA said that the Government has opened several new degree colleges in various uncovered areas of the State for providing better and higher education to the aspirants of far flung and remote areas, who due to poor and weak economic conditions cannot afford to go districts or tehsil headquarters, besides various primary, middle and high schools have been upgraded under RAMSA.
Terming peace a pre-requisite for development, MLA said maintaining tranquility and harmony in the State is need of hour for comprehensive progress on socio-economic and political fronts.
