Kathua, Oct 29: Taking further the development activities in Kathua constituency, BJP State General Secretary and MLA Kathua , Rajiv Jasrotia today inaugurated platform at village Upper Kharote at the cost of Rs one lakh from his CDF.
The MLA was accompanied by Sarpanch Kharote Mohan Singh, City Pardhan Vidya Sagar, Ravinder Pathania, BDO Kathua, X-En PHE Civil, and people of Kharote Village.The locals expressed their gratitude to the MLA for taking up this work on priority and also brought some other issues to his notice.
While addressing the gathering, MLA said that people of the area should personally monitor the quality of ongoing developmental works in their respective areas, so that their involvement in developmental activities can build up the force of co-operation between Government and public in order to improve the development tempo and taking it to new heights.
He further said that with the start of these works, the long pending demands of the people have been redressed and the concerned department looking after the construction works will complete it in a stipulated period of time.He said there will be no compromise on quality of work in the Constituency and poor quality work will not be allowed. Jasrotia assured that the work taken in hand will be completed in stipulated time and good material will be used so that it can last long. He said the people of the State can maintain a report card of BJP and they will see good governance in the State. He complimented the people and requested them that work which was started should be done under people’s supervision and they have to ascertain that good material is used.
