Kick starts development works worth Rs 25 lakh

KATHUA, Apr 14: MLA Jasrota , Rajiv Jasrotia today said that the BJP Government at the Centre will leave no stone unturned for equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
Interacting with people at Panchayat Bhorthain North and Jakhole, Jasrotia said this is evident from the fact that it is paying focused attention on equitable development besides welfare and prosperity of the people of this traumatized region.
Jasrotia assured the people to get their grievances addressed at the earliest by taking up the same with the concerned authorities. He appealed to the people to further strengthen the hands of PM Narendra Modi for equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
On the occasion, Jasrotia inaugurated and started development works worth Rs 25 lac at Panchayat Bhorthain North including lanes and inauguration of Mandir Jakhole in presence of BDO Barnoti Dheeraj ,Mandal president, Balwant Singh, Sarpanchs Shivdev Singh, Randeep Singh, Joginder Singh, Chagger Singh besides others. Jasrotia also paid rich floral tribute to Dr Ambedkar on his birth anniversary at different places. Jasrotia reiterated commitment to emulate the ideology of Ambedkar for the economic uplift of the downtrodden and underprivileged in society, adding PM Modi Government has implemented several schemes for the empowerment of SCs and STs in the country during its 10 years rule. The BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre has done a lot for welfare of Dalits during its 10-month rule, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Jasrotia reiterated BJP’s commitment to equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. He said that the Union Government is paying focused attention to Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory and is determined to carry out developmental activities in every nook and corner of this sensitive region.
Former Minister said that Narendra Modi led Government at the Centre has prioritized the overall development of all the areas without any rural-urban or other discrimination. He said that cleanliness is the basic necessity to maintain optimum health of the people living in their area and proper sanitation is inevitable to augment the efforts towards cleanliness. He said that the Government will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the proper sanitation infrastructure like drains, etc along all the lanes and roads.
