KATHUA, Nov 6: In the spirit of Sab Ka Sath Sab Ka Vikas, BJP MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia today inaugurated various lanes and drains in different villages of his constituency.
They including lanes and drains at village Uttari costing Rs 10.00 lakh, village Barwal East at Rs 6.00 lakh, upgradation of transformer 100 to 250 at village Barwal at Rs 3.00 lakh, lane and drain at village Jandore at Rs 5.00 lakh, lane and drain at village Thanoon at Rs 10.00 lakh, lanes and drains at Village Nagrota at Rs 19.00 lakh, lane and drain at village Sakte Chak at Rs 7.00 lakh, lane and drain at village Nihalpur at Rs 5.00 lakh, black topping of road from Uttari to Chak Ram Chand at Rs 1.5 crore making it total Rs 3 crore.
Jasrotia, while speaking on the occasion said BJP is guided by the Mantra “Sab Ka Sath Sab Ka Vikas” and party always believed in the inclusive and holistic development of all irrespective of caste, community and religion. He further added that ever since the BJP Government came to power it has made a qualitative difference in the lives of the people. On everyday basis new projects are being taken up for the welfare of the people of Kathua constituency, he said, adding that another aspect of his working is the implementation of schemes and the close monitoring of the ongoing works and projects.
He said that he has taken it as a mission to transform the developmental agenda of the Kathua constituency, adding that BJP believes in the upliftment of all sections of the society. In the days to come plans are already underway for the construction of modern parking systems to ease traffic congestion in the city. He assured that all the development related projects will be undertaken in a time bound manner and no area falling under the ambit of Kathua constituency will be left undeveloped. The MLA also promised that providing State-of-art modern edifice to people of this constituency is his sole aim and until the goal is achieved, he will not take rest.
Jasrotia said that the Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people especially to the people of the rural area including health, drinking water, road connectivity, electricity, better drainage system and education. The Centre has been providing liberal funding , and in this budget session thousand crore have been kept for the Rural Development Department so that rural areas get focused attention which was completely ignored by the previous successive regimes in the Centre.
