Jasrotia starts JJM project worth Rs 4.35 cr at Panchayat Chilkh West

KATHUA, Jan 23: MLA Jasrota, Rajiv Jasrotia today kick-started a Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) project worth Rs 4.35 crores at Panchayat Chilkh West (Block Dinga Amb), claiming that the project will benefit 2500 souls in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Jasrotia stated that Jal Shakti Mission in Jammu and Kashmir is indeed making significant strides in mitigating water woes, especially in rural hilly areas. He said the Jal Shakti (PHE) Department is working tirelessly to ensure drinking water facilities to all habitations, both rural and urban.
Jasrotia said this project is expected to significantly improve the lives of the local community, providing them with access to clean drinking water and promoting sustainable water management practices.
Jasrotia claimed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP Government has initiated various projects and programs aimed at improving the lives of the people in J&K.
Prominent among those present on the occasion include Mandal Pradhan Dinga Amb Deepak Sharma, Sarpanch Chilkh West Kewal Singh, Sarpanch Kuldeep Gupta, Sarpanch Roshan, Panch Sham Parsad, Panch Vikram, Panch Om Parkash, Panch Sudesh Kumari, Panch Mukesh, Panch Parshotam, Ravi Abrol, Maghar Jasrotia, ex Mandal Pardhan Samar Singh, Yuva Morcha Pradhan Mukesh, district president Saksham Sardari Singh and co – convenor BJP Refugee Cell, Vidya Sagar. Officials of PHE, PDD, Revenue, PMGSY, Social Welfare Department, PWD and concern BDO were also present.
