Jasvir pitches for effective recruitment policy

JAMMU, Jan 31: District Councillor of Panchairi Moungri in Zilla Vikas Parishad Udhampur, Jasvir Singh said that the Government should formulate a new and effective youth, sports and recruitment policy for Jammu and Kashmir.
It was stated by him while addressing the media persons, here today wherein he said that a new J&K is the determination of all of us in which everyone should get equal opportunities for development and inclusive development can be ensured. There is immense potential for development in J&K and the young generation is very talented.
He said the future of J&K also depends on how well we will channelize human resources and especially youth power in a positive direction and creative works. He stressed that the need of the hour is to have a new youth, sports and recruitment policy for J&K. For this the suggestions of the general public are important especially from the young generation.
He further said that organisations like NSS, NYKS, NCC, Bharat Scouts and Guides have played an important role in social development and nation building. “The youth of J&K have the ability to lead the country in sports, but for that it is necessary that they get full support and a better platform. A new policy is needed in this regard,” he asserted.
He also raised the allegations levelled by the youth against the JKSSB in recent exams and demanded a fair enquiry in this regard so that the credibility of JKSSB is maintained.
He appealed to the Government to regularise the left out NYCs and temporary employees engaged in the different departments of the J&K.
