POONCH, Dec 25: Man-mohan Singh, Vice Chairman, JKMSCL and president of State unit of All India Jat Mahasabha along with his team conducted a 2-day tour of Mendhar and Nowshera and discussed the issues of the community with the local community leaders.
On the first day of his tour, Singh visited Mendhar, where local Muslim Jat leaders with a large crowd of people from their community met with him and discussed various issues and problems being faced by them. They told him that approximately 50 thousand people of Jat community is living in Mendhar tehsil.
Singh listened the community people patiently and assured them that the issues highlighted by them will be taken up with appropriate authorities and Government. He also assured them that he will not leave any stone unturned to get their genuine demands solved at the earliest.
Next day, Choudhary Manmohan Singh reached Nowshera and met various deputations of Jat community there. Various issues were discussed in the meeting and Singh assured them that he will ensure that the issues are resolved at the earliest.
Singh was accompanied by Col RL Gangal, Choudhary Sham Lal and Choudhary Anil (Sarpanch, Benglad). Promi-nent leaders from Nowshera who attended the meeting at Nowshera include, Bachan Panchi, Master Balwant Rai, Master Om Parkash Choudhary and Sarpanch Sukhdev.
