Jawan hurt in Pak firing

JAMMU, July 7: An Army soldier was injured in firing by the Pakistani troops on the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district this afternoon.
Injured jawan has been identified as Sepoy Vineesh C. He sustained gunshot wounds fired from across the LoC, reports said.
The injured jawan was immediately evacuated and airlifted to Command Hospital, Udhampur, where he was responding to the treatment.
This was first ceasefire
violation of this month on the LoC in twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu region.
Reports said that Pakistan firing lasted only few minutes.
