JAMMU, Apr 22: An Army jawan was today injured in an accidental grenade blast in Lam area of Nowshera sector in Rajouri district.
Reports said the Army personnel were engaged in cleanliness of their weaponry and explosive material inside their unit in Lam area of Nowshera sector when one of the grenades went off accidentally, causing injuries to a soldier.
The injured jawan has been identified as Sepoy Niku Kumar. He was immediately shifted to Army Hospital, where he was responding to the treatment.
Reports said the Army jawan had sustained injuries in his hand and was out of danger.
