JAMMU, Mar 25: An Army jawan was injured in a mine blast in forward area of Nangi in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district this morning.
He has been identified as Naik Dhana Ram.
Reports said the Army jawan was patrolling the forward area when he stepped over a mine, which had reportedly been washed away due to heavy rains, at 8.30 am today. His right foot was badly injured with the impact of blast.
Army jawans shifted the injured to Rajouri, where from he was airlifted to Military Hospital in Udhampur.
His condition was stated to be stable.
